Briny Sea

Moon song seduces sea
Call forth ebbing plea
Wafts lull stark sails
Chase wake of errant whales

All calm in bosom of sea
Impetuous tides may be
Many treasures enfold
Deep in fathomless abode

 Navigate ‘neath celestial star
Shine on vast horizons afar
Quicksilver entices sea
Arise crowned majesty

Lover’s meet but ne’er caress
Fairytales foretold briny unrest
Stem and stern destine to sail
Through balm or raging gale

Odyssey sodden prayer
Seawaters godsend to bear
Sail on crests of brine
Gypsy heart tis mine
