Broken

Broken

You shattered my heart,
Into a million pieces,
Pain was real,
But was it really worth it?
I gave you my heart,
But you gave it away,
I gave you all my time,
But that flew away.
Pieces on the ground,
waiting to get picked back up,
I thought you were the one,
To fix it, not mess up.
Reasons you told me I was enough,
Was all just a lie,
Because look where we ended up.
Your hugs were just one reason why I stayed,
But now that you left,
It all faded away.
You said I was mental,
And sick in the head,
And I believed you for awhile,
Now you’re messed up instead.
You shattered my heart ,
Leaving me crying for days,
It took me awhile to get over it,
But the pain is still here today.
But I got over you,
And now I’ve got a new bae.
