Broken Glass
Cracked right down the middle, the mirror, hope it's not bad luck
Fairyland life ended, now only broken dishes, I'm stuck
A love torn between family, friends, and work
The train dead in it's tracks, I'm trying not to look back
Sad it didn't work out, just memories of Willy, country music we didn't lack
No wonder it didn't work out, I'm more of a rock and roll sorta girl
Photo's locked up in my mind, like stepping on broken glass
One step at a time, the pain gets deeper and deeper
A broken heart, a broken dream, picking up the pieces now, one at a time
It won't be long before you are no longer on my mind
It will take some time, but I still have some class
You might have been the one,  if would have just spent a dime
Instead you just got cheaper and cheaper, making wishes on ceramic dishes
While time slipped away, the more plates would break
Now,  just the past, another piece of broken glass
