BROKEN HEARTS

BROKEN HEARTS

Where do broken hearts go to, can they find they're way home,
I'll find you, somehow, wherever never you may roam;
It never happened to me although another in matrimony,
you don't want me, I'm gone in a puff of smoke mystery.

I could take my life instead of looking for another wife,
why should I give myself so much aggro and strife?
I'm alone now, I think of you sometimes, when we touch,
like the old days, a bit greedy they say, never enough.

The laughter, the smile, if I'm lucky you'll stay awhile,
I can't live with you, I'm a fan, perhaps I need a man,
is it different, maybe, all men are bastards so they say,
so, when it comes to the crunch, I'm so like yesterday.

I'm so still thinking of that broken heart, yours or mine?
I need my glass, half-full, why this sour taste in my wine
