Poem -
Broken on the inside
Our eyes are but a window to our soul, the floodgates that hold back the Waters of brokenness until they can hold back no more. Then the waters burst fourth in a flood that cleanses our broken souls. Allowing us to live again and in time to love again. Brokenness is but a tool in The guiding hand of God, stripping and shaping us into the person we're meant to be. The waters from our brokenness are washing away all we're not meant to be. So that all can see the beauty of who where meant to be.

Oh please keep writing Donald, you have a very expressive voice. Sometimes we get comments and likes on here, sometimes we don't. Sometimes work gets overlooked in the sheer column but it doesn't matter...we write for ourselves, to express ourselves not for approval, though I agree, it's very nice when we receive approval and input. I am very interested to read your work and will catch up with it soon. Power to your pen, my friend ??
