Someone

           someone that long to be near. Someone when I'm near I stand in fear that she won't want me to be near. So I walk away in here without the one I long to be near. Someone whose face is always there, whose face is there when  the lights says good night to the day in fear the night and all the things that creep in the night. Her face is there when I lay down in fear that her face may never again appear. but when the light begins to appear I take hold of my fear that's kept me from the one I long to be near. And I go without fear to  someone I long to be near and embrace her without fear. And when we embrace with tears in her eyes she tells me of her fear that I might never, never come here.      The fear of the unknown will cause you to sleep alone.                         Inspired by the one I longed to be near. written by Don August 2019
