~Broken Soul~
Soft is the rain it gently fallsĀ
Upon the soft field's of greenĀ
Like tears that fall off theĀ
Cheeks of a broken soulĀ
That carries a pain so deepĀ
It tears her apart insideĀ
Her soul silently weepsĀ
For the solitude she seeksĀ
To run and hide away fromĀ
Her brutal past and face her demonsĀ
That she has to battle inside her headĀ
That suffocates her drowning herĀ
In her own deep dark pool of despairĀ
And sorrow crushing and paralyzing herĀ
Leaving her emotionally crippledĀ
In an agonizing weaknessĀ
That breaks the soulĀ
Fighting desperately to breatheĀ
Fighting to push back the tearsĀ
From the sadness through the yearsĀ
All her pain, all her strife and an aching heartĀ
That struggles to beat from breakingĀ
Created by damaging words that rips openĀ
The heart piece by piece gradually being picked apartĀ
The broken become numb in lifeĀ
She carries the wounds and scarsĀ
Pain and sadness all through her lifeĀ
It shows the years through the tears in her eyes.Ā
