Broken Thoughts

By Amanda

I sat on the bridge , wind crashing against me like an omen of the tremor i felt inside
Tears streamed my face, no where to run no where to  hide.
Memories and visions of the past, things of happiness- they never last.
Trapped in my own thoughts that had driven me here.
The endless unforgiving pain and fear.
The harrowing ground beneath , the desperate urge for quick relief.
How can I be better how can I be fine.
When I’m surrounded by these depressed thoughts of mine

A Lonely Journey

Hi Amanda,
So sad, but so beautifully penned. Life can be that way, but you seem to have a wonderful, creative heart, and I hope you know you're great.
Really understood, and enjoyed your poem.

Matthew.
