broken wing

the wings of the butterfly 
did not fly too well
they took to the air
fluttered and fell

one wing is broken
but still it try's 
waiting for a new one
to take to the skies 

you came along
and mended it with love
stroked until it ascended
to the blue sky above

i am that butterfly
with mended wing 
i took flight
you are that healer
that made it so light

now i know
who to come to when broken
your wise word's and touch
so true when spoken
