Bruises

Bruises

When you walked through the door

Must say I found you most appealing

Perhaps it was the way you sat

Those sweet little bosoms

Speaking my language

You really held me

Your eyes appealing

To my manhood

And then you broke into tears

You told me about the years

Years of pain

Beauty in pain

Hell on earth at 17

Abuse and

Being hit

By the one you loved

Now tears across your cheek and

Bruises in the heart
