A Bubble Of Trouble

I'm in a bubble of trouble, it's raining urban rubble,

Shadows in the distance, i resist in an instance,

The daunting damp black alleyways

Where suspicious creatures come out to play.

I smell hostility by a rundown facility,

It's best to steer clear of eye contact near here,

one fatal mistake could make them react.

The rain pours down and puts a frown on the town,

The damp seeps out of the battered buildings,

It smells of rotten earth, who knows what it is worth.

Through the darkness and the fog, the shadow of a stray dog,

That's lost it's way like the souls of the people,

Climbing up the urban steeple,

Danger could be anywhere, the streets are covered in rips and tears,

In the night, all is laid bare.
