Bury my Heart

Bury my Heart

I bury my heart
in the mountains,
you carry it there,
draped across your shoulders.
It is a beautiful feeling
and where I want to be.

I am not afraid of
what is around me
and I find your strength,
when I am weak.

The moon in the sky
is your determined eye,
that pierces my guarded exterior
and your fierce sword smile
calms my conflicted mind,
and I feel the sun´s warmth
when your love is kind.
