I only ever captured

Bumblebees

In glass jars

In my dreams

I never captured butterflies

I worried

For their wings

 

It didnt seem right

To capture butterflies

It seemed such a sin

Yet deep inside

Hidden by pride

My captured butterfly

Lay trapped within
