Summer

Wild and screaming

Skyborne scythes

At home in silhouette

Of temple, cathedral, and mosque

Winging, winding, hurtling, crying

Small brown hunters

Of insect laden

Sunblest skies

Their cries reach deep

Within my mind

And I fly with them

Free as natures child
