Can I Be a Bee

Can I Be a Bee

I do not want to be remade
I would much rather be a bee
Waiting to flee from the weighed braid
That sep’rates my fee from my glee
Take me to the flowers of time
Show me the fruit of life. Away
With the slime of the past,
Welcome the climb of a fleeing bee.
