CAN I TROUBLE YOU FOR

Can I trouble you for that's what he says
Outside a shop front that's where he lays
What will he ask me for as I walk on by
Money for food and somewhere better to lie

His accent when speaking is hard to place
Has a year's worth of stubble on his face
This time it's a hot drink he wants from me
For today the temperature is minus three

I put a pound in his well worn and used tin
Thanked me kindly with his toothy grin
Can I trouble you for is his catchphrase
Outside a shop front that's where he lays
