Can You Relate?

Have you ever written something so heart felt
innerbition of warmth that could make snow melt
lived an hard life from a bad stack of cards dealt
a recipe of words that you have never ever smelt
i think i have just take a look at some of my scripts
theyve left a mark like a kiss of my girlfriends lipsticks
sufferd from pain in lifes chess like game in bits
not aware of the moves that the next hand picks
trying your best but doesnt seem to be good enough
felt like an homeless guy thats living days rough
had the weight of the world on ya shoulders heavy & tough
had your head full of thoughts thinking all kinds of stuff
think most of us have on here in all walks of life
trying too come up with solutions to make things right
had a screw loose that needs attention to tight
tryring to fix problems that come an trouble us at night
Yes weve all done it an poetry helps us fix this
expression of emotions on a day to day basisΒ
wether it good or bad weve all had to face this
then we come out shining saying yes we made this

thanks for the positive feedback
i appreciate it ?
A common trait amongst poets is that they often wear their hearts on their proverbial sleeves which makes them extremely vulnerable, James.
However, "weak" and "vulnerable" are two totally different things, and people make a HUGE mistake when they take our vulnerability for weakness.
Nice writing, as always.
