Can't get no sleep

I can't get no sleep.

It's driving me mad,
I'm going insane,
Feeling delirious, inside my brain.
Swivel-eyed, but it's not my end game,
Babbling incoherently, telling fables, lies,
Maybe one, maybe two.

Some say I'm unhinged,
Others think I'm crazed,
Certainly not sane, I'm lost in a daze.
My mind's a warped maze,
No way in, no way out,
What's that all about?

Distorted from reality,
Demented and deranged.
Don't know what's left,
Or if I even have a membrane?
Feverish under the skin,
Frenzied, wild, and raving.

My thoughts are a labyrinth, twisting and turning,
Every corner a shadow, sanity burning.
Voices whisper secrets, cryptic and cold,
In the corridors of madness, I lose control.

Mirrors reflect a stranger’s face,
Fragmented pieces of my mental space.
Haunted by echoes, a ghostly choir,
Feeding the flames of my internal fire.

Reality's bending, time’s a twisted streak,
Voices in my head, playing hide and seek.
Shadows dance, my thoughts they breach,
Sanity slipping, just out of reach.

Spinning in the void,
laughter in the dark,
Madness consumes,
every flicker,
every spark.
A puppet on strings,
lost in this deranged show,
Falling deeper,
where the lunatics go.

No escape,
no light,
just endless night,
A mind unravelling,
consumed by fright.
Demented whispers,
a never-ending spree,
In the depths of madness,
forever I'll be.

I can't get no sleep.

And that's just on a normal night and day
