Can't Let You Go

I can't let you go,

As much as I try,

Even the countless times you made me cry.

Sitting alone in my room,

Thinking am I a fool,

For the believing the words and the emotions,

As if I am a little girl at school,

Believing in fairy tales,

And putting my trust in your hands.

Only to be convenient to you,

When your wondering the waste lands.

I am smart in the mind,

But sometimes stupid with my heart.

Allowing it to be used like an A.T.M,

Which doesn't need cards.

So withdrawal of my emotions is available 24/7.

But as my balance gets low,

So does my inner and outer glow.

Its only a matter of time,

Before I walk permanently away,

Because in the meantime,

I know I can't let you go,

Even thou I know I deserve the one,

who wont want to let me go.....
