Prayers for lashing rain
Let's talk about tomorrow
Another day of pain
Let's talk about fun
Powder, pills, and liquor
Let's talk about health
Can we kill ourselves quicker
Let's talk about peace
Inconceivable dreams
Let's talk about the world
Nothing's quite what it seems
Let's talk about money
Pennies in my purse
Let's talk about love
A miserable curse
Let's talk about people
Hypocritical slander
Let's talk about family
What could be blander
Care to converse!?!?

The author here seems to only look at things from the negative side. The weather lashing, fun only through liquor and drugs. Health only about killing ourselves. All these things go on, but we should look for the brighter side of things to find happiness. Though all of these questions would gather conversation. In the end, the work does what it is meant to do. Creates conversations! Good poem! Anthony
