Careless talker

When we keep our emotions 
all bottle up in side of us 
some times we will want a hug
but we don't know who to trust

But there will come a day 
When we must let our guards down 
and the personal thoughts that we share
someone can use it To do us wrong

I read a verse from the bible 
that's collecting dust sitting on my shelf
It says "careful what you say 
A careless talker only hurts their selves"

We all will have a certain time 
When we feel vulnerable and weak 
And for a little comforting attention
Sometimes we all will let our secrets leak

but some people can use our 
weakness to break our heart 
And cause us a lot of pain 
More Than we had from the start

Not all who smiles with you 
You can call your friend 
If they betrayed you once 
bet your dollar" they will do it again

Then pretend that its OK
To push you to the ledge 
And silently laughs watching 
as you're heading over the edge

A really good friend 
Is like a personal starker 
and wont be afraid to stop you
From being a careless talker

when you are in a bad mood 
hurtful words might come your head 
and you can always apologize after
but cant take back the words already said

If you have a good friend 
Who really cares for you? 
Then appreciate them 
For they are rear and few

This world can be cruel 
But we must face the day 
Never knowing what tomorrow 
Is going to bring our way

Just be wise with your words 
Says the bible on the shelf 
And remember "a careless talker 
Will only hurt their self"
