Poem -

carry my heart.

The wind tells me
I'm dead to you,

Cold sensations
down my spine,

The currents
Carry my heart away,

To another place
a space in time,

A place of warmth,

a place of
loving desire,

Wrestling
with thoughts,

my mind is shed
To settle now
Amongst the ashes,

Of this ever
burning fire,

the wind laughing
And laughing,

as I transpire

with every ounce
Of breath
The flames grow higher
And higher,

I know now in death,
the wind my love
...is a liar.
