The castle

He glances around nervously
As fear comes over him
outside the thunder cracks
And the candles started to get dim

Portraits of faces lines the long corridor
With layers of dust covers them all
the lights from the cracked windows
Casting  scary shadows on the wall

He feels like someones following him
As he walks  through the empty hallway
The faces in the portraits keeps staring at him
Like if they have some thing to say

He saw her standing by the windows
Then he believes the stories that's been told
about the heart broken princess in a dungeon
that lock herself away from the outside world

with long hair and a white dress 
She haunts the old castle
She had fall in love with a soldier
And the king had him killed in battle

the king didn't want the princess 
to be in love with a common man
so he was killed in the front lines
by the order of the kings demand

She then locks her self in the dungeon
And refuses to ever come out again
She died of a broken heart
After months of mourning in pain

He jumps as a door creaks behind him
He took a deep breathe and swallows
As continues through  the dark castle
Towards the big open French windows

He walks in to a big dark room
In the center of the long corridor
Then he sees her shadow on the walls
As she goes through an old wooden door

Behind the old wooden door was a stairway
That leads down to the dungeon
 holds up the candle up to see 
But she was already gone

every foot step he takes squeaks 
as he slowly reaches the bottom of the stairs
his mind telling him to run out of there
but his feet was trembling with fear

the candle suddenly went out as he lights it again
the dungeon was in immense darkness
And as the candle lights the room
In front of him stood the princess

He opens his mouth to scream
But there was no sound
And his blood was cold as ice
As his feet froze to the ground

But when he catches his breathe
He notice she was a real beauty
And he was in shock when she said
I know one day" you will come back to me

Then as she reaches out and hold his hands
and suddenly like magic the castle comes alive
With servants and musicians preparing for a wedding
chanting "the future prince has arrive

No one ever seen him again
They find his jeep outside the castle next day
And inside the castle many centuries ago
He married the beautiful princess today
