Castle Room Rumors

Listen carefully to the conspiring secrets,
That echo deep down in the lower dark castle halls.
Voices of treasonous plots find patient ears,
Hiding statuesque like in dark castle walls.
In a royal secret room the king whispers,
Erotic pleasure to his mistress before planting seed,
Unaware the royal chambers is entered by,
Summoned knight who's coaxed into defiling his queen.
In the grand banquet rooms drunken fools,
Sway to music and do stumbling dances across the floor,
They toast to tax cuts the good times and the old king,
As the juggling jesters realize they just aren't funny anymore.
Everyone who secretly complains,
About the prince you know the one with a heart made of stone,
Who stares in the mirror so vain,
Feeding an ego with a mind always set on his future days on the throne.
The widespread tales of tongues,
Of a beautiful princess charmer,
Who loathes in her cell with locked down hate,
Waiting to be rescued by a knight in shining armor.
A wicked grinning collector in all black stands fitting at the castle gates,
A mimicked kiss war on his lips at his back a peasant crowd,
No sun will shine when blood to be spilled is etched upon minds,
This damned depraved kingdom forever wrapped in a dark cloud.
