CELESTIAL CITY
Oh the blessed mansions of the Celestial City, splendor filled days of eternity
Never obscured by night and ever radiating beams of sunlight
The promise it brings to so many things of heavenly thought and inquiry
Promises made by the prophets, and legends handed down through time
The days of this life are but few, and in desperate need of inspiring
Oh the truth of the day, always joyful , and never changing into darkness
The stature of it shown through the clouds and never the starkness
Wonder, "Will I be free with nothing to hold me back?" and, with no distress
Of body or of mind, and will there be a noble peace?
A peace within me and all around me
Of the type which holds admirations praise
Where in each steadfastly held Gregorian gaze
Stand the pillars of truth and harmony
Stand the tests of time, comes perfect calm
And entreating dancing
And heavenly choirs singing up into the colorful clouds
Where the cupids do there romancing
Oh the glory of such a Celestial City
Holding the hopes of all that came before
And the heavens
that have no doors
Let the bells ring a song so pretty
For it's time in the Celestial City.....
