CHAMELEON

CHAMELEON

You're like a chameleon
Who changes her colors
You hide your true feelings
But share them with others
You hold in your pain
And bury it inside
You allow it to fester
To become amplified
By the time that you tell me
Just how you feel
You've broken my heart
And made me feel like a heel
You're like a chameleon
Who changes her colors
You refuse to tell me
But share it with others
Why can't you trust me
To understand
Why do I have to know how you feel
Second hand?
You called me a SOFT TOUCH
Like that's a bad thing
I tried to show I care
Take you under my wing
You're my little sister
I'll always be there
Even if I can't see you
As you disappear in thin air
