Character flaws

You've done it again my darling
asking what needs to be asked
helping me to look deeper
as I face the forthcoming task,
you've helped me push that bit harder
to be who I want to be
helped me through fear and anxiety woe
helped me see wood from tree,
you've helped me think twice when needed
for when I should have paid heed
you make me aspire to be better
fulfilling my emotional need,
you've helped me through the trouble
shown me life's worthy cause
as I face my mirror of the soul
reviewing my character flaws.
