CHASING UNICORNS

CHASING UNICORNS

There are things that I regret
I’m not a car crash I’m a wreck
Creating things I can’t forget
Like a tightening noose around my neck
Taken down with brutal force
By the boys in smart blue uniforms
The game is up now ran it’s course
I’m done with chasing unicorns
The world spins round I walk on by
The more I see the more I cry
Tears of grit and blood and sweat
To all of nature we’re in debt
The chosen path will always be
A different way of life for me
A story with a certain end
What’s in between is mine to spend
With white knuckles I hold my breath
To seal the deal i made with death
