*Simon's Time Challenge*
Pawns in unwitting game
Opponents dying for fame
Pieces on chessboard played
In realms existence made
Analog of chess clock
Β Reaper tolls fatal shock
He victor each chime
Mortality runs out of time
Ebony rooks surreal home
Gratefully trod and roam
Notions black and white
Encroach, alabaster knight,
Shrewdly battle losing game
Challenge another name
Scythe to untimely fate
Blithely bids checkmate

thanks, I changed the ending a bit to have it come together a bit more coherent. I'll probably change it ten more times but that's just my OCD in motion lol
