Chemical Soup

On repeat

Chemical Soup

Questions and curiosity,
Blanks,
A gun.

Seems like nowadays,
I`m searching,
Everyone.

Where jealous and mentions,
Screaming for attention,
Empty,
In a dried-up daydream…

Well… screw your thoughtless theme!
My nightmares are bursting at the seams!
What`s my policy?
What`s the mystery?
If I`m so hard to please.

Infinite, finite loop,
A chemical soup,
Moral compass in Bermuda,
Silence stick? Just mute her.

And to you.

I sense your hesitation, through.
Gears behind those eyes, it's true,
Because I`m dangerous prey for my size,
And you know I`m smarter than most of the flies.

Are you Venus?
Because your act is seamless,
A planner, trickster, a thinker?

I have seen it a thousand times,
And your just another hook,
For me to leave it be,
I`m not falling again.

I`ll keep swimming.
Through the Sea.

More on its way! Hope you enjoyed it!

Max a great write that simply flows, delivering its poignant and human characteristics message in spades and it so surely delivers.
A poem to reread so I have pinned it.
Thanks Max and enjoy life.

Wow. Thanks so much! Really it means a lot for  you to say that ;). I'm really glad you liked it. Hardest part is finding inspiration. Second hardest is finding a song to go with it XD. Thanks again. The Fish of the Sea
