Cherry Blossom Falls

Cherry Blossom Falls

Silence
Upon the misty hill
Silver sunrise hits cold steel
Pink blossoms ride the wind
Β
Forward drives the chilling steel
Dropping quick upon the field
A splatter of red now coats the ground
Where once a warrior stood proudly
Β
Silence
A pink blossom floats softly to rest
Speared with red as it kisses a cheek
Upon the misty hill
Β
Cannon fires across the sky
Men who fight have come to die
Winds of change will not repent
A sword cannot batter the bullet
Β
Silence
Upon the misty hill
Steel lies broken in bloodied grass
As the cherry blossom lingers
Β
Fist that grips refuses to yield
Hissing breath is honors seal
Pride will not fall before the sun
Somethings are worth fighting for
Β
Silence
A pink blossom settles in red
Accepting that history will remember
Upon the misty hill
Β
The Cherry Blossoms Fall
