What about doctors & nurses ... sheesh I got into so much trouble playing that years ago ... dunno what all the fuss was about, I only sawed a kids head off ............................................................... N :)
Neville you just made me spit my coffee out from chuckling so hard lol, you are so hilarious and yes I remember that game well, that game always was a guaranteed base hit ha ha đ
Kicking the can is okay but wouldn't want to confuse the can for a bucket x
Lol to funny Tina, this was a fun write for me and it seems all the comments are providing a good laugh too. Thanks for the read and laugh. ~RobÂ
Ooh the nostalgia of being a kid again just flooded back. British Bulldogs and Manhunt were huge games back in my day. At school if the weather was awful, we would have to stay inside and then we would play chess. Thanks for the reminder Rob :) x
I loved Chess my grandfather taught me how to play at age 6 and that was our game...... British Bulldogs sounds fun, I envy a name like that game . I'm glad you enjoyed Gwen . :)Â
I still love chess Rob, though I tend to play against the computer these days. I started playing in juniors so probably around 7-8 years old. British Bulldogs was a fun game although you could get a bit bashed up lol The aim was to get from one side of a field to the other, without being caught by the bulldogs. If you got caught, you became a bulldog. The game ends when one man is left. They then start the next game as the first bulldog. Hope that makes sense đ Thanks for all the memories Rob, been fun thinking back on some more positive memories xÂ
Gwen , it sounds similar to Red Rover except you just call the name if someone after a chantÂ
Red Rover Red Rover we call _________ over and that person runs trying to break through the woven arms of the opposing side , we learned in highschool ot can be dangerous as a couple guys got slammed hard lol.... yeah fun memories for sure.Â
Gwen, I remember British Bulldog! We also played something called "one, two, three block home.," that was fun too. And Red Rover and Mr Crocodile â Please Mr crocodile can we cross your holden River on the way to school Please? Haha that was fun.Â
Gosh Tina now you have my cogs turning, I remember Red Rover. We did âwhatâs the time Mr Wolfâ Donkey which is where you throw a ball against a wall and have to jump over it as it bounces back. Ooh elastics, oooh and Kirby too Lol now I wanna go back to just being a kid. Man Hunt was a huge game, probably my favourite outdoor game. You needed to really plan your moves. Rob has certainly got e nostalgic about my childhood đ
Hahaha...yeah he certainly has ...lol xx
