A child's Nightmare

Creatures of the night
They fill you with fear
When they holler out 
They give you such a scare

They go unseen
For months
Even years

But when they show up 

You better beware

For they aren’t kind
And they don’t care
And if you see one
Don’t let them know you’re near.
