Why worry about mistakes, we made in our past,

Learn to forgive yourself, into the future cast.

Be the best that you can be, smile from your heart,

People will forgive, not too late to make a start.

A person very close to me, did that very thing,

I sit back in wonder, at the happiness she brings.

She is someone now, that you wish you knew,

So proud to be her son, to tell her that it's true.

I hope she's shown the way, for those who need to know,

If you want to make a change, the time is now let's go.

Destiny belongs to you, this life is what you make,

Always give a little more, than you choose to take.

Friends and family are key, to help along the way,

Don't take life so serious, try your best to play.

Make the most of things, to waste it is a crime,

Something that I do believe, can't put price on time.
