Christmas Buddy

Dear santa
I asked for a buddy so i wouldnt feel alone.
I was expecting a person.
Not a dog with a bone
But as soon as i saw him
I knew we would be friends
I knew the excitement would never end

I thought of a few names
But non fitted the suit
He needed a name
That sounds strong and cute

Buddy i shouted is the best name of all
One that is short simple and small

So i thank you Santa for giving me the best gift 
A Buddy a puppy and memories that will always live.
