Christmas Eve Memories
Gathered around grandma's and grandpa's Christmas tree
Getting ready to head to out to church for The lighting of the candles on this cool brisk night
To celebrate Our Lord's Savior's Birth
Arriving back home to exchange presents love and fellowship
All us kids are jumping up and down no one is wearing a frown
As we lay down to go sleep
Hard to remain still not making a peep
Waiting for Santa to bring such wonderful gifts for two good boys
Fondness of Christmas eve's in the past
It is shame we all had to grow up to be adults
