Cigarette

Cigarette

I call him a cigarette because before he's pressed against my lips I know he's bad and I know sooner or later he's going to kill me like cigarettes
And like the cherry on a cigarette is always hot and firing yelling at me nothing
And I keep saying I'm going to get rid of him but I never can like I can't quit smokingĀ
When he's pressed against my lips I forget all of my pain just like when I'm smoking
I'm addicted to him just like this cigarettesĀ
Ā one day I will quit smoking this cigarette just like I will quit him
