City Life

City Life

With all the loose ends
We have come undone

Tearing up the streets

Looking for hope

Not necessarily bad

Not brilliantly good

With all the poison in the air

Birds are still singing

Ain't necessarily bad

Ain't brilliantly good

With all the hate in this town

We make love by the alleys
