How my morning started

How my morning started

Walking to the beach before sunrise
Through dark alleys of sadness

Nobody is around, no one is awake

Dogs gathering around me

My approach to shore comes with a surprise

Birds are up early for a soundcheck

Beautiful symphony of life about to start

In the haze of morning twilight

An older gentleman greets me with a smile

He says hi and walks away

Like he's no stranger to loneliness

A video for people to see

Shows my life is no debris

False imagine I'm creating

To defend my long broken sanity

I've barely come to my senses

As I walk back home again

And I'm done for the day

This is how my morning started
