~ CITY TREE ~
Aye city tree,
I cry for thee,
When thee I see,
I hide the tears....
Arms vernal yearn,
Desire to burn,
But men shall learn,
With passing years.....
That trees feel too,
As I for you,
We'll start anew,
I'll mend thy pains....
You shall be me,
And I a tree,
We both agree
We'll meet again....
Stronger than I,
Bold in the sky,
Shall never die,
My pen thy word....
For I am me,
And thou art tree,
We two of He,
As is the bird....

I hear that's what used to happen in the 80's a lot if ya got on the wrong side of the mob ..
a most interesting glimpse into where as a writer you have journeyed from & of course clearly visually appealing & well structured .. I like it Tony .. but then, I got a thing about trees wherever they might be ..

OMG NEVILLE!!.......you are such the funny camper!!.....thanx so much for wandering away from camp to find such a variety of tree-folk(smiles)......kindling of course....wait, I've just realized that I'm not quite as funny as you when it comes to small bark.....oops wait.....I meant "small talk" which is something I don't think would go over in your neck of the woods (more smiles)......sorry bro....just getting carried away with this barking kinda language!!.......one last thing ~ you make COSMO such a truly fun place to go camping!!......lots of love to you and yours.......and thanx for allowing me a place to go sampling the my ability to go sampling my sense of humor.......it is indeed........fun!!.........smiles.......T xo : )
