Clarity

Why must we always wasit time tryin to justify our actions
When all we are doing is tryin to change others reactions
For a moment we become self conscious of all our imperfect ways
And begin to talk in circles out of fear of what the world may say
Backwards the life we live, cuz we all do the same
To blind to see ourselves so we judge other men
Anger and oppression rules and runs every heart
While thoughtless minds run a muck, trying to earn the simple buck
Fighting one another cuz we want what we cant claim
If it dont stand here in Gods name then its worth to us is in vain
We're trapped and bound by sins like chains
Cuz we're too proud to call Gods name
Cuz in this life we choose to think
That we can rule like kings and queens
And have control of everything
.....
But clearly that will neva be the case
