CLOAK

Swishing and swirling,
Sparkling with shades of darkness.
Menacing on some,
A sign of hope on others.
Worn by superheroes as a sign of purity,
Worn by vampires to conceal their intentions,
Swirled to enhance the music of the night,
Wrapped around to bring warmth amid ice,
So sad we no longer wear cloaks.
