Close
Close enough to feel God's kiss close upon my lips
Oh how your presence is like a spell
Lifting me to my feet and well
I don't know if you catch chills too
Cause I know every time we meet I do
Even though it's hard to stare
From my eyes to yours
Even when I rehearse
I cannot combine verbs
Adjectives or nouns for that matter
My lips only stammer
My heart beats faster
How you breathe ever so lightlyΒ
I'm in awe, Oh you smite me
I love when you smile at me
I can't help but to kindlyΒ
Take in every word you breathe
I'll never leaveΒ
Your side
Out love will always provide
Everything we need to be
Together ever happily
