Poem -

Clumsy

I was born with a clumsy head, I'm clumsy as soon as I get out of bed
As the day dawns I knock into doors and bang off walls
I'm so clumsy, I blame my mother
Everything in my way, my body seems to smother

I'm like a sinking ship in the presence of public
My mind has a grip, but my body is like a bomb going "tick tick tick"
Every step that i make is a fatal mistake
I see these big crowds that appear to me like thick black clouds
Anxiety rides high, I never look at the sky
I always keep my eyes on my feet 'cause I don't know what they might try

As soon as I get on a bus, I kick up a fuss
I try to keep out the way, but my clumsiness never seems to go away
I see a sea of people gathered in masses, I try and be discreet
But my body's an out of control car that crashes
All I can do is try, and hope that one day this clumsiness will die
