Cody Misses Teddy

Our Cody misses Teddy, his dearest new best friend;

Cause Teddy had to leave today, for time at home to spend!

He lives in Massachusetts, from April till the Fall;

So they’ll have to be apart now, and won’t be chasing balls!

For when Teddy comes to Cody’s, we throw them and they run!

To see who can retrieve them first, they have a lot of fun!

Today Cody looked for Teddy, down at Starbucks this early morn;

But when he knew he was not coming, he got sad and so forlorn!

He saw some other doggies, but they’re just not quite the same;

He misses his friend Teddy, we don’t dare to say his name!

But I’m sure that he’ll be happy, when we visit in July;

Cause we’re taking him to Teddy’s, we can hear the yaps they’ll cry!

For when they both see one another, after three months been apart;

They’ll give each other lots of kisses, and the barking will then start!

But till then we have to please him, cause he’s gonna feel real sad;

For he’ll miss his new friend Teddy, he’ll miss him very bad!
