A cold dark place

some times the pains of living
can hit you real hard
and the feeling of hopelessness
can make you very sad

despair and depression
is a silent affliction
that can enter your minds
and take over like an addition

the lines of worrying 
can so quickly appear on your face
and though you're sitting in the sun
your world is a cold dark place

and you don't tell your family or friends
you feel like the world turns its back on you
and you wears an "Oscar winning fake smile"
but you really don't know what to do

but you know you have to keep living
some times you have children
so you have to fight the darkness
to bring the light to your smile again

you never knew you possess super powers
never knew until you are ask to fight
you bring all the energies in the world
to give your cold dark place some light

yes life is given to us from god
or evolution as scientist would say
we didn't ask for it or choose our gender
we are left with the hand we are dealt to play

we go to school and work hard 
some learn a trade and develops a skill
some becomes "CEO,S and presidents
some cleans your drains when its fill

the pains of life don't have an agenda
it don't choose age or race
it can come to every one
to put you in a cold dark place

some will lose their way and give up
its sad "but its the truth'
and some will "put their head down and plough
and in the end taste the sweet fruit

this is not only just a poem
its a battle that I have been fighting
and every time I think I am out the storm
comes another round of rain and lighting

its our instinct as human beings 
to never show the pains on our faces
wears a big bright smiles
from within our cold dark places

the most beautiful smiles
can hides the deepest secret's so well
and the most amazing eyes
cries the most tears but never tell

the kindest most gentle hearts
suffers the most pains and despair
none is immune from ups and downs
the poor ,middle class or millionaire
