Poem -
Come Near
Lord, please come near,
You feel so far away,
And I feel all alone,
So hear these words I pray.
I can't make it,
Not one day if you're gone,
For burdens weigh me down,
And I am not that strong.
My darkest moments,
When I can't measure up,
The standards I set,
Afraid you won't then love.
Deep inside me,
I know that it's not true,
So please stop voices,
As demons use to bruise.
