Come With Moon

Come With Moon

Come with moon
Come with stars
Come with eyes like open jars
Sink into the forest deep
Be mindful where you place your feet

Be still
Be calm
Behold its charm
Be ready with an open palm
For little eyes do softly peep
From little minds
with little feet

Betwixt the trees
Betwixt the grass
Betwixt the moonlight beams that pass
Beyond the veil which taints the eye
Betwixt the land and ornate sky

Through feral woods
Through hallow grounds
Through whispers found in nature’s sounds
Beyond the scope of manmade dreams
Within the corners of life’s seams

They sit
They hide
They softly call
To those who wish to hear at all
And gently place a loving hand
To help the mindful understand

So come with pen
Come with book
Come be one within the wood
Come see their little world so bright
Come hear their song
Come dance
Come write

The awards assigned by me above
were no mere reflex
but assigned with much thought
and more than just a dash of luv ..

well maybe respect & admiration
would be more fitting
But luv I did & do
of that pic of the impish fairy sitting ..

Yep, no kidding,
seriously enjoyed
from one magical end
to the concluding other .. x

Found it! This is the one of yours I wanted to find, read a while back and was bowled over Gwen!
Forgot to do the honours part, but will make amends now.
Your poem, this poem is just bloody fantastic writing throughout.
Excellent, captivating, beguiling, yes I could gush more words.
But this is the kind of poem and its indelible inked theme, is one I believe, poets dream of writing, myself included.
I may as well pack my poetry bags now and abdicate, for I could never dream up or attempt to dare write something this good.
Love it!
This is timeless poetry calling Gwen.

Shaun I am so sorry to of missed this very thoughtful comment. I went away for months and didn’t know you left this. I stumbled onto it and felt awful for not replying sooner. But thank you for leaving not just a comment but such a compliment and words that are truly encouraging. Although I must disagree to parts, as I have read and envied many of your works my friend. I do hope life is treating you well. That you continue to write and touch the hearts of many

Gwen xx
