Comfort Zone

I feel like I'm falling through a crack in the universe
My heart twinges and I feel out of breath
Going from place to place nonstop
Sleeping in beds that are away from my one at home
Whilst writing my next book as I travel on different roads
I am sleep deprived, I am anxious, and doubtful of myself
But when I see your wonderful faces looking at me
Asking me about my poetry and being so kind
It gives me the strength that I need to survive
Being outside of my comfort zone.

Hi K. G. Munro.
I used to experience those mixed emotions
when I was driving the eighteen wheeler over the road.
i did. it for ten years. Boy. Was I happy when I knew I was heading home.
thanks for the memories.

Being Me

I like this because I do believe that 'the comfort zone' could well be the temptation of Lucifer himself (if I believed in Lucifer, which I don't).  What I mean is, the comfort zone is an incredible lure but get yourself sitting comfortably and you don't want to move. There's nothing like a hardship to  get you moving forward x
