Complete With A Red Nose

Could dare to walk 
through southern woods
on a warm October's midday,
and still find a stinging chill
disturbingly joking
behind, the maple trees.

Candy promises
sweet talks of nothing
Come take a white gloved hand....
Most kids run screaming
eyes spout insane laughter
with elastic looks snapping back
like a rubber band,

Bloody hair that scared
teased the sides of his head
Such as flames,
speaking in gibberish tongue
painted white pale face
only answers to games.

He cackled hoarse
not with biting teeth
but brandished fangs
only eating of meat,

The typical yellow and blue clownsuit
adorned with maroonish fluffy buttons
made to be seen an easy target,
yet a roaming nightmare 
in the middle of nowhere 
always catches someone off-guarded.

Crimson smile approaches 
hand hidden 
I assume holding clever,
adrenaline fear leaves me in paralysis 
I frose.....
He honks twice

On his big, round, red nose.
